How do I set up my Giftshare Gift page?
To get started just click on the "My Account" menu option or the top button on the homepage. It’ll take you a minute to register and then you can create your personal gift page with a message and photo as well as a unique web address – a URL link.
How do I tell my friends where they can make their contribution?
Once you’ve created your page you can send an email to friends and family from your Giftshare admin page. We’ll also email you a reminder of your personal Giftshare page address which you can forward or copy and paste into other emails.
How do I make amendments to my page?
You can update your gift page anytime by logging in with your email address and password – just click on "My Account".
What are the costs of using Giftshare?
It's free to set up your gift page, and when we buy the gift on your behalf, we negotiate a commission or discount on the normal price quoted by the supplier. We debit your account by the normal price and retain the commission or discount as our payment. With some suppliers we charge an additional commission charge - these are indicated in the "Gift Listings".
What if I am looking for a gift that is not from any of your listed suppliers?
Let us know what it is you would like, and where you have found it, and we will do our best to help you get it! We make a commission charge of 10% over the quoted price of the supplier to cover our costs for doing this.
How will I know when I have reached my desired amount?
You can keep track your progress by logging in and checking your account history which will update every time a contribution is made. We will also email you each time a contribution is made, telling you who has contributed, and confirming your new fund total.
What if the gift that I want is unavailable when I have reached my target?
You can select an alternative gift through one of our preferred suppliers, or suggest an alternative.
When can I expect delivery of my gift?
We’ll order your gift shortly after you’ve confirmed it – delivery depends on the policy of the supplier in question. We’ll email you to confirm when the order has been placed and what to do if you have any questions or concerns.
What if I change my mind about the exact gift that I want?
You can select another gift at any time, so long as you have collected sufficient contributions.
What if I collect funds that are more/less than the value of my selected gift?
You can top up your fund to achieve your target if there is a shortfall. If there is a balance amount left over after your gift has been purchased you can either keep your gift page and start saving for your next gift, or close the page and we’ll send you a cheque for the outstanding balance, minus our closing admin fee.
What if I would like to cancel my gift page after I have collected contributions?
Login at "My Account" and select the account closing option. We’ll send you a cheque for the balance of the contributions you have collected, not including any vouchers we have issued, minus our closing admin fee which is £20.00 or 10% of the outstanding value, whichever is the greater.
Is there a time limit on my gift purchase?
No, there is no time limit.
What if I have a problem with my gift?
When we confirm the gift order we’ll email you details of the gift supplier, who is responsible for the quality and delivery of the gift.

Can I contribute anonymously to my friend's Giftshare gift page?
When you make a contribution you can choose whether to use an alias, or make your contribution anonymously. Unless you contribute anonymously, we’ll email the giftsharer your name and email address.
My card has been rejected, how do I contribute again?
We use a very high level of card security, so occasionally valid cards are rejected. We regret any inconvenience this causes, but security is our top priority. If your card is rejected, please try again with a different card, or contact your card issuer to ensure that there are no security issues relating to your card.
